It only means anything on the corporate level. VW/Audi/Porsche were already so deeply tied that I can't imagine anything would change in their product portfolio.

Speaking of VW owning Bugatti, its crazy how the Veyron only happened purely because of VW. They funded the whole thing to make it possible, and they lose money on every Veyron they sell. They Veyron was purely an engineering exercise to showcase what they can do. An engineering exercise that was well worth it.
