VW/MQB/MK7 FB Groups vs. Forums

I just have to comment on how utterly stupid the majority of the people in facebook car groups are. I struggle to not be condescending on those mediums, since there is such a lack of informed contribution. So many people spread mis/disinformation, and so many people ask the stupidest questions.

That's my rant, really. Thanks for being smart and knowing what you're talking about, guys.

Agreed, I couldn't stand a couple of the FB groups and ended up just leaving.

There's one decent MK7 group I'm in, and a local regional VW group. The forums are way higher quality. I'm banned from one of the groups for noticing this chick that was best buddies was an actual crack head.. lol

There's a pretty good NorCal centric VW group on FB I participate in as well as a global MK7 Golf R group that's decent. Local groups are great for meet ups and cruises.

I stayed for a couple weeks in the MQB group...and left. Still in the So Cal group. Seems like some nice people in there.
