We were originally booked at Mirage but were transferred to Monte Carlo when they couldn't accomendate us. Lost about 100 but won 500 on the first night from 20 bucks in the wheel of fortune machine, decided that it was just my beginner's luck and didn't gamble anymore. My friend and I toured all the casinos, hotels and convention centers during the day, took a lot of pictures with his camera and ate at all the restaurants we found interesting, the food was great but the surrounding environments were even better no matter where you go.
I entertained the idea of the infamous "escort" service (hey, we're in Vegas, right?), but my friend was too intimidated by the thought of such things, and since I respected his opinions as a friend I dropped the whole issue, I was definitely curious.
We watched various shows during early evening like Lance Burton and FANTASY, great shows and were definitely worth the money.
Minus the taxi fares, meals, tickets for museums and shows, the rest of the money went into strip clubs. Didn't spend much during the first night at Spearmint Rhino simply because I wasn't interested by any of the girls that approached, my friend had a good time though and I mostly spent money on drinks. The second night, however, was much better at Crazy Horse since the bouncer was able to bring over what I considered "top of the line" with a perfectly beautiful face, a great body and a sensuous attitude to boost. I dropped the cash, held good respect for her and made sure that we both had a good time. In turn, I was handsomely rewarded by her with quite a bit of free "extras".
That's about it, it was a great trip and definitely gave me the relaxation needed before diving into heavy schoolwork.
P.S. regarding money, I believe in not strapping yourself with worries about cash since you already decided to take the vacation. My limit was 1k and I didn't go over it.
