Assume you’re referring to the blank space you’ve marked with a cross directly above the button for the hazard warning lights and between the Assist and Climate shortcut buttons. If so, then as it’s a blank space I’d say that nothing should happen if you press that part of the panel.

Does something happen in your car if you apply pressure to that blank space?

I tried it out of curiosity not expecting any kind of sensor pad there.
Can confirm its as designed, a blank area with no function.

This is what it looks like on the inside. When I press above the hazard light switch the parking sensor display come on.

I pressed mine today and it brings up the parking display too.
