Who's coming from a non-VW car?

Im commin from a 2002 vw Gti 1.8t and before that a nice 1985 Rabbit...Love VW

First car was a '97 Chevy Cavalier. Traded that in for my '02 Camaro SS (which I still have). Just bought my '06 GTI last week and I love it. Best car I've had so far, even though it has half the power of the SS.

Sold my '02 M3 2 months ago and got on list for '07 CW. Decided to go "affordable" but something that's still a blast to drive and good everyday. Due to pick up on 08-14, pretty damn excited.

Currently own a 2005 scion tc that im going to be putting up for sale soon. Before that i had a 2000 mustang. the GTI will be my 3rd car, and my first VW

Getting a CW Rabbit 5-speed, hopefully it comes in this Week. I was/am a Nissan man, I got the rabbit cuz it seemed the best option between price/option/sportyness/looks, and i needed a car i can drive in the winter and somthing i don't have to worrie about. I have always liked previous golfs, I hope this car can live up to my expectations.

The whole VW thing is just untill I can get back into a Z car.

I came from a Mazda 6s Hatch 5speed. It was fun at first but after a long list of fixes and problems the car become more of a hassle than it was worth!

I've been a VW owner for a while now and really haven't driven anything else. Are there lots of ppl here who are driving their first VW or first Golf? I'm curious what made you switch. I'm telling you though once you own the Golf u'll be hooked on it for life. :bow: Get ready for an obsession. :wub:

I thought I was going to be hooked on the Honda Prelude for life too. And then there was the Civic for life. Then there was the Jeep for life. Hmmm....I see a pattern here. It's my first VW. But if I know me, I'll move on.

WHy did you ditch the TL, it is one fun car.
