So we agree, it's hard mode because it takes more effort and eliminates guesswork.

Yeah, I was surprised to find out this is even a thing. People just type in random letters not even knowing if it’s a word or not? Seems to me like completely missing the point of the game.

Anyway, not a great day today, but I’ll take it.

yeah for some people its about getting the word not doing it in X guesses or less. not to shame or belittle those people by any means, but tossing 2-3 words to fish for letters is one "legit" strategy just to complete the puzzle day to day.
