Its higher pitched than a lot of the other 1.6Ts that I've heard that are in development for the 2015 year. Seems they're trying to keep that lovely whirring sound of the yesteryears

turbo too, doe. It sounds fairly close to the current car, just higher pitched. Perhaps the exhaust system they use can slightly change that. All I know is, hearing an F1 car in person totally blows your fucking mind (and ear drums).

Remember the Mazda MX-3? It has a 1.8L V6 back in the early 90's.

I guess its strange to hear v6 with such small displacement now in days... Most V6 I see now in days 3.0 and above

this is a racing engine though... even the last V8's were tiny as far as the litre size is concerned.
