I think this is the first 2dr GTI I've really liked since like the MKIV.

As for the pano roof - I have one and the novelty wears off quickly - if its the kind that doesn't open, unless this one will?

I don't want pano roof. I foresee cluster fucks of little motors going out.

One of the things that the MK7 GTI will get that the regular Golf does not is an aluminum roof mated to the steel body. That will reduce weight and lower the center of gravity. VW invented and patented a new welding process for that.

I wish they would have at least blacked out the rest of the roof it's half n half and looks stupid like from the front it looks like a black roof and the back whatever color the car is
