new lens for my 20d

i have a canon 20d..... i think i want a new lens since i have the crappy kit lens. im looking for some recomendations....... somthing in the 250$ range
if thats possible....

hmm, depends on what you like to shoot. For $250 or so you can look at a Canon 75-300 USM, or a 50mm macro lens

i might just have to do that

spend it on the class. A LOT of my pictures that are taken with the 18-55 kit lens come out just as good as take with a more expensive lens.

definitely take a class and carry the camera around everywhere and just take pictures of everything. practice, practice, practice.

probably the best advice there is.

just experiment with all of the settings and see first hand what they mean. you can learn the definition of aperture or shutter speed or bokeh or focus or anything online, but being able to put them into practice takes a little experience. that comes with practicing

I just bought a 50mm and a flash for my Nikon....best money I have spent in a while :thumbsup:
