Suspension pop

Recently installed coilovers, only started then. Everything torqued to spec, all bolts/mounts/bearings replaced.
Sounds almost like a loud torque wrench click then release only at a certain point when turning the wheel, doesn't happen when the car isn't under load.
Any ideas?

I'll pass that to friend. He recently acquired this neat 2012 GTI with a mysterious pop noise mostly on uneven roads. That will replace his DD truck that will turn into a weekend toy. The new rotors and alloy ion wheels for the truck arrived and we can take the GTI in tomorrow.
