What did you do to your MK6 2.5 today?

Had a few hours to work on the wagen today. Sorted the fuel rail/lines/purge valve/valve cover and started some prelim catch can routing.

Yup, remove the Engine cover and clean it with dish soap, I would like to take a plaster mold of it.

Did you have to do anything to the pins to get it to work properly? I just bought a set and only my turn signals and high beams work.

Upgraded my front rotors to 312mm looking forward to putting the wheels back on and seeing how they look

Also, made a catch can up.
Vents directly from the PCV to the breather hose. I was able to use stock fittings with 5/8 hose.
I had to modify the can by drilling a hole through the top and adding a breather filter.

I just switched to the neuspeed pflow air intake for now. Next, I'm gonna paint my brake calipers. They are rusty. Hope everyone stay safe with covid 19 going on.

The Goals just have a classic aesthetic for me. Coming in around 22lb(internet scale) for an OE rim is a plus. I ran OE Thunders off a CC R-Line prior. Looked cool, 18"x8"...rare factor...BUT....at something like 8 pounds a corner heavier.....lesson learned. Just felt like driving in quicksand.

I lost my pics on the car. 42 offset if I recall. Also, Kia and the bulk of the industry adopted this look. The Wolfsburg caps are a nice tip of the cap to the heritage of the brand and dirt cheap on Amazon.
