More tire noise, it was noticably louder with the back seats folded down so I figured I'd start with the hatch.

Oil change and some fresh plugs for the brief period this engine is still in the car *pauses for the audience laugh track*.

Went to install my new AP PCV valve and found that Urotuning sent me an “AR” revision that doesn’t actually exist except in the cheap Chinese aftermarket. The box says OEM and AP so not sure how that happened. Returning…

Also received my replacement BMP drivers side headlight. They’re doing a free 1-to-1 swap for the original one I got that had a twisted projector and uneven DRL brightness. They’re even covering shipping. I exchanged multiple messages with the guy who actually puts the headlights together and he helped me check a few things while we were waiting on more stock. Great service all around. Big thumbs up for them.

Unfortunately I’m noticing a couple issues with these headlights since installing them. (1) Driver side low beam projector is rotated slightly CCW. (2) One of the DRL strips is significantly brighter than the others.

Not what I would expect from a $900 set of lights. I emailed BMP and hopefully they take care of it…

Hell yeah! Both of my kids came home from the hospital in Volkswagen. Son in our Mk6 TDI & daughter in my current Mk7 GTI.

Congratulations, there’s literally nothing more fulfilling than being a dad!

Install was fine. Fitment is fine. Idk. I don't love it. But it's too late now. v2 aerofabb rear diffuser.. i just couldn't justify buying the 600$ one.
