No, I don't ride a fixed gear, but I should get my ass out and pedal my road bike. A couple guys at work ride fixed gears.

It's all good lol, basically... fixed gear= single speed (no gears), no brakes (optional). Fixed gear track bikes are used for velodrome racing, or everyday riding on the streets (commuting, etc.). There are a lot of hipsters with road conversions who refer to them as "fixies."

im about to be a fixed gear rider, ganna order the new raleigh rush hour.

ive always talked crap about fixed gears and how only hipsters and scene kids ride them, but i rode my friends for the first time a few weeks ago and i had so much fun on it for some reason. so im buying one.

still keeping my trek 2100 for when i do real rides though.

my roommates bike, 1970 Crescent, wheel set and seat are only new parts, everything else is original

mine, 1972 Raleigh Grand Prix, new wheels set, brake levers, and set, rest is original (rear wheel flips to be a single or a fixie that is why i have regular brakes
