What tune is on it? What tuner?
OK, so he sold you the AP with the car. Flashing back to "stock" is flashing back to a COBB con-rom simulated stock map. If you unmarry the AP, the OEM map will be installed in it's place. Worth a try.So 3 weeks ago, I flashed the tune back to stock before taking it to the mechanic for the clutch failure. It's still currently stock flash tuned.
I'll update with codes..
To the owner.This isn’t a mk6.
No need for LPFP with stock turbo and E85. HPFP yes.OK, so he sold you the AP with the car. Flashing back to "stock" is flashing back to a COBB con-rom simulated stock map. If you unmarry the AP, the OEM map will be installed in it's place. Worth a try.
Diggs is onto something with the fuel level. Could the previous owner have replaced the LPFP for his Stage 2 tune? He would need to if he was running E85, right? Something might be wrong there. The other codes could be HPFP related, and could be low because of the LPFP.
At least the dealer can't say "no codes found".
It was like 70% throttle, half tank of gas. Light was turning yellow, barely stepped on it, only like maybe 70% down, for 2 seconds maybe. Then boom car stops.I see everyone saying HPFP and yet I'm seeing a level sensor error. If the fuel reading is inaccurate and you're bombing up a hill at full throttle with no gas, well......
It was APR stg 1 high torque when he sold it to me, before when he had the car prior to sale, he had it at apr stg 2 with a borla exhuast. I bought it in May. Then in early July, I flashed back to stock bc the clutch felt really bad, so no tune currently. What tune is on it? What tuner?
Yes, now anytime I hit about 3k rpm, starts braking/pausing on its own..From what I understood, happens on flat surfaces as well, no?
Idk, I texted the previous owner if he ever had a recall on the fuel pumps, and that codes came up. Sonofabi*** didn't respond of course...OK, so he sold you the AP with the car. Okay is it about the same cost for a LPFP? I don't have many tools, and my wrists are shaky from 2 surgeries on both wrists. But idk I may look into doing it. I have a local cheaper german specialist, or should I take it to the dealer? I also bought a used extended 3rd party warranty that covers fuel pumps. Not sure if I should go to the dealer or my local guy.500ish? You can change it on your own, super easy.
You can do it. 15 min swap. If you want to pay for shipping and duties from Canada and back, I have a hpfp I can send you to test out if it works. And then if that's the problem, just buy the new one. But I'm not sure how much duties and shit would be.Okay is it about the same cost for a LPFP? Gotcha man I really appreciate the offer , I'm going to look more into it and see if my extended warranty will cover repairs. Thank you I'll keep you updatedYou can do it. 15 min swap.
