all you need is a low profile gas block, a rail and some flip up sights. The front sight base is not really in the way when you run either magnified or non-magnified optics though. You in actuality look over it so to speak. You can look up cowitness and learn some more.

Dis. I've even seen people cut the front sight post to create their own low profile gas block and just add a free float tube/rail system.

Yup would love one but I'm in Kalifornistan so we can only buy handguns on a "safety roster" which the Glock 42 is not on
