I would suggest not targeting civilians intentionally, you know, like 5 year old and ambulance crews that coordinated efforts with IDF.

THERE IS NEVER AN EXCUSE FOR DELIBERATELY TARGETING CIVILIANS AS A WAR STRATEGY.

I'd also suggest not preventing food and water from being delivered to the people that just had their entire neighborhood flattened by bombing to the point that people are now starving to death.

Serious question, do you think it's impossible to fight terrorism unless you deliberately target civilians and starve an entire population of people trapped in the war zone by your blockades or do you think that will create more terrorists? History says more. What do you think?

And what exactly are you asking when you say "what would you suggest"? It sounds like you're saying war crimes are their only choice. I think the US taught a master class on how not to fight terrorism, invading two counties, then showed how to do it correctly when taking out OBL and targeting militants, not civilians, while making it harder to strike us.

I'm 100% sure Israel has made themselves less secure by openly and deliberately committing war crimes as a war strategy. Netanyahu just doesn't care in the long run, the brutality helps him maintain power today.

No, clearly targeting civilians is ALWAYS unacceptable and certainly can't be a "strategy".

Israel is faced with an impossible situation. Take religion out of it for a moment and ponder this:

You are a tiny country surrounded by people who want to eliminate you as a country and wants to kill all your citizens, no matter where they are in the world.

You've been living in a very fragile peace for many, many years.

You've been attacked without provocation and hostages were taken.

The "civilian population" cheered as the hostages were dragged through the streets.

The other side has a long standing policy of using their own civilians as human shields.

There is documented evidence that they hijack relief good intended for the civilian population.

There is documented proof that they keep their civilians from going to safe zones.

There is also documented proof that they use civilian infrastructure (hospitals, schools etc.) as military installations.

What do you do? And saying "don't kill civilians" is not the right answer. That is obvious, but does not answer the question.

In order to preserve the country, they need to do something - but what?

I guess an option would be to nuke Iran.

So it's never justified, but then you write a huge post trying to justify it. And Israel was not attacked without provocation. They are occupying land against international law, allowing illegal settlers to take Palestinians land and ignoring settlers violence against Palestinians, all while they're been blockading Gaza since 2008. That would be like claiming Japan attacked the US without provocation in WWII, when we in fact had a naval blockade of Japan.

I never said Israel is hijacking aide, where did that come from? They've blockaded Gaza and aren't allowing it in.

To preserve the country, they could have ended their internationally illegal occupations a decade ago and could have stopped illegal settlers from killing Palestinians?

I 100% guarantee you slaughtering Palestinian civilians will not help them preserve Israel and may do exactly the opposite.

Israel has made Hamas more popular and has increased support for Hezbollah. Israel has taken all sympathy that people felt for them after the attack and turned it into disgust, except for evangelicals, who seem to be egging Netanyahu on, because they think it's the end of times and want the world to burn.
