My last car was an '06 BMW 330xi. On a whim I test drove a GTI and just loved the power delivery and pep. The other thing I really liked was the idea of buying a $25k car and with a few mods being able to kill an M3 (while at the same time getting 30mpg). :w00t:
So, after mulling it over and doing a little more research, I went in to the dealer and picked up my GTI a few weeks ago. It's been a blast so far and I'm researching the mods that I'd like to get done.
My GTI is a 2dr Carbon Steel with DSG (all my other cars were stick, but wanted to see how fun the DSG would be).
I'm getting a clear bra and tints done next week. Then mostly like will get the APR Stage I tune after break-in.

Might as well list my other POS while on on this thread.
1992 Civic DX with B16a2 swapped in and various other mods.
I don't have any pics from when it was still fairly clean and damage free
but here are some from the aftermath of the primary and secondary hood latch failures. I was driving on the 401 @ 130 kph when the hood popped open and crushed my car. Surreal experience trying to pull off to the shoulder while looking through a one inch gap on the window was exhilarating to say the least
