Ready to race!
After over 3 months of waiting the brackets for the Brides arrived.
My immediate thought upon bolting them into the car was "I've made a terrible mistake"
IMO, they look great but the pictures are deceiving. There is hardly enough space between the steering wheel and bolster to squeeze a leg in. Once you're situated you realize these sit HIGHER than the stock seats. Taking the 4" thick bottom cushions solves this but there the brackets themselves will have to be modified to go lower.
My goal was to have these sit low and away from the cage and without the cushions its slightly better than stock but still not safe. I'll be doing some measurements, cutting, and welding this weekend in attempt to remedy the situation. Otherwise these will be up for sale and I'll be in the market for a set of Kirkeys
